VITAL WHEAT GLUTEN
Wheat gluten is extracted from specially selected wheats by a separation process using fresh water.
The wet gluten is then dried in a way which retains its vital properties when reconstituted.
After milling (in combination with in-line magnets) and sieving the pale cream colouredpowder is held in silos for supply in bulk or is packed in bags.
Wheat gluten contains no additives.
Wheat gluten is used in milling & baking, and in a wide range of food
products including breakfast cereals,
meat, poultry products, vegetarian food and pasta. It is also extensively
used in the petfood and aquaculture industries.
PACKAGING & LABELLING
25 kg or 50 Ibs bags palletized, batchnumber(s), product name (wheat gluten), company name (Cargill) and weight printed on each bag.
bulk loads in clean dry food grade tankers, batchnumber(s),
product name, company name and weight printed on transport document(s).
Wheat gluten can best be stored in a dry dark silo or dry warehouse.
Extreme temperatures and/or humidity should be avoided.
Shelf life: one year from delivery.
